IN OVERTURE HALL
THE PARTY FOLLOWS AT FRESCO
Out at the Symphony is an opportunity to connect with John DeMain, the MSO and members and friends of Madison's LGBTQ community in a fantastic night of great classical music with an exclusive party at one of downtown Madison's hottest venues.
Madison’s own Christopher Taylor returns for a third time in Piano Genius
where he explores two deeply contrasting works, beginning with a Baroque concerto by Bach, heard for the first time at these concerts. From Bach, he shifts to a thoroughly Romantic virtuoso work by Liszt, his Piano Concerto No. 1.
In the second half, the MSO embarks on an inaugural performance of Bruckner’s monumental Symphony No. 7.
After the last bow has been taken, you'll ascend Madison Museum of Contemporary Art's glass staircase for an exclusive party at Fresco, on the top floor. Overlooking the rooftops of downtown Madison, you'll enjoy conviviality, elegant hors d'oeuvres and conversation as you sip your favorite cocktail from among Fresco's signature drink specials.
We've set aside some of the best seats in the house at very low prices. (Click here for a seating map
.) A-Price Tickets (usually $84 each) in the Orchestra Level are only $60, a seat in the Mezzanine (regularly $53) is yours for only $40, and those prices include the after-concert party with hors d'oeuvres, desserts, and drink specials. If you've already subscribed or bought your own tickets to this concert, you can join us at the after-concert party for only $15!
