Out at the Symphony is an opportunity to connect with John DeMain, the MSO and members and friends of Madison's LGBTQ community in a fantastic night of great classical music and an exclusive party at one of downtown Madison's hottest venues.
You'll hear Debussy's impressionistic poem on the dances and rhythms of Spain as
Ibéria sets the stage for one of the most talented young artists on the circuit today.
Augustin Hadelich has captured the hearts of audiences and critics alike, and his performance of Prokofiev's
Violin Concerto No. 2 (perhaps one of the most lovely concertos of all) should be mesmerizing. Then Tchaikovsky's brilliant
Symphony No. 2 transforms the folk songs of the Ukraine into a work of great power and beauty.
Tchaikovsky's finale isn't the end of the festivities. After the last bow has been taken, you'll ascend MMoCA's glass staircase for an exclusive party at fresco. Overlooking the rooftops of downtown Madison, you'll enjoy elegant hors d'oeuvres and scintillating conversation as you sip your favorite cocktail from among fresco's signature drink specials.
