PLANNED GIVING

A LIFETIME OF MUSICAL ENJOYMENT—
A LEGACY FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS
GIVE THE GIFT OF A LIFETIME
Have you enjoyed attending MSO concerts for many years? Do you want to help ensure that the Symphony will bring joy to future generations? Thoughtfully considered estate planning can put significant giving within reach for many individuals who might not have thought it otherwise possible. The far-reaching consequences of such giving can truly transform the destiny of the Symphony. We will work with you to match the outcome of your gift to your philanthropic aims. With your help, the legacy of the MSO’s music and educational programs will continue to serve our community for generations.
WHAT WILL MY PLANNED GIFT SUPPORT?
All planned gifts to the Madison Symphony Orchestra become part of our endowment and will support the MSO in perpetuity. We would be happy to discuss your specific interests and match them with the perfect opportunity for you. Planned gifts can support key MSO initiatives by:
  • Endowing the podium to ensure a music director of superior ability for generations
  • Retaining talented musicians by naming a Symphony chair
  • Supporting Up Close & Musical®, our nationally recognized, school-based Education Program
  • Endowing the HeartStringsSM Program, dedicated to improving the quality of life for children and adults with special needs through participatory performances
THE STRADIVARIUS SOCIETY—
MSO’S PLANNED GIVING CIRCLE OF FRIENDS
The name Stradivarius is an icon of permanence and value in the musical world. The rare quality of the great master's instruments places them in a class of their own. Stradivarius Society members create an equally permanent musical legacy for all generations to come. All planned gifts qualify for membership in the Stradivarius Society. Members receive a lapel pin, an open invitation to the Donor Lounge at all concerts, and are honored at an annual lunch.
