The Madison Symphony Orchestra is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and relies on charitable contributions to fund approximately one-third
of its annual operating budget. Contributions
to the MSO are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
The relationships we share with world-renowned artists, area educators, local organizations and the greater Madison community make our important work, both in the concert hall and in the community, possible.
Some of the most important partnerships we have are those we share with the individuals, businesses, foundations and government agencies that support our work. It is evident that each of you share our mission of enhancing the community through the power and joy of classical music, and together we accomplish incredible things: presenting internationally-recognized artists in Madison; performing timeless classical masterpieces that stir the soul; introducing a second grader to the musical concepts of rhythm and expression for the first time; or bringing enjoyment and respite to aging adults and individuals with special needs by participating in innovative musical activities.
