ADMINISTRATIVE POSITIONS
Madison Symphony Orchestra Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
We are currently accepting applications for a highly-motivated Manager of Institutional Giving. This position manages all aspects of the proposal writing and reporting process for corporate, foundation and government donors, and contributes to the establishment and implementation of donor cultivation and stewardship strategies. We are currently accepting applications for an unpaid internship in our Education and Community Engagement department.
ORCHESTRA AUDITIONS
The MSO is a fully orchestrated, part time professional ensemble comprised of 91 contracted, per-service musicians, offering approximately 80 services per season. The MSO announces auditions for the 2017-18 season:

SECTION VIOLA
TUE, SEPT 5 - PRELIMINARY AND FINAL ROUNDS

ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL SECOND VIOLIN AND SECTION VIOLIN
WED AND THURS, SEPT 6 AND 7 - PRELIMINARY AND FINAL ROUNDS

One Regular Assistant Principal Second Violin and four Regular Section positions are available, two in Violin I and two in Violin II. In addition, there is a one-year/possibly permanent position open in Violin I. Excerpt list is available here:




If you would like to audition, please email a cover letter and one-page resume including your instrument to MSO Personnel Manager Alexis Carreon at acarreon@madisonsymphony.org.
If a current member of the MSO wins a new position, these auditions may be used to fill the resulting opening.
Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States.
