CREATING THE HOLLYWOOD SOUND
Exiled Jewish, classical music composers Erich Wolfgang Korngold, Miklós Rózsa, and Franz Waxman, who made major contributions to American movies with their musical film scores, are the focus of the Madison Symphony Orchestra’s March 6-8, 2015, weekend of concerts and talks.

British violinist and musical activist Daniel Hope, who has done extensive research on these topics and recorded some of their classical and film score music, will be the featured guest artist at the concerts and featured speaker at several events.
