An encounter with a musical hero can be a turning point in the life of a young musician. That is why the MSO is proud to be able to bring many world-class soloists and conductors (including our own John DeMain!) into local schools to work with students of all ages. These artists offer master classes, clinics, workshops, and “Conversations with the Artist” during sessions that are offered free of charge to participating schools and are open to the public.
"Thank you for offering this amazing opportunity to my son!...It was truly an honor for Joe to get to meet and work with Tine Thing Helseth…what a blessing."
If you would like to get involved, please contact MSO Director of Education and Community Engagement Kathryn Schwarzmann at (608) 257-3734 x225 or kschwarzmann@madisonsymphony.org.
